Bookstore – Website Description
The Palacdozow.pl website serves as a modern online store and a showcase for the publishing house. I ensured both aesthetics and functionality in its design.
I created elegant, cohesive graphic banners and a refined visual layer, giving the site a professional and appealing look.
I also focused on responsiveness – the site works smoothly on all devices. Subtle animations and hover effects were added to enhance user comfort and experience.
Additionally, I streamlined the checkout process, making the e-shop simple and intuitive to use.
My work combines e-commerce functionality with a polished, visually appealing design, creating a modern and user-friendly website.
The website is available at the following link:

🏠 Home Page
The homepage features a banner slider that I designed. The banners promote books available in the bookstore and include buttons that, when clicked, lead directly to the specific book in the shop.
The top menu includes the tabs: Bookstore, Services, Publishing, Authors, with the publishing house logo displayed in the top left corner.
In the top right corner, there is a cart icon that leads to the shopping cart for completing purchases, as well as a search icon that makes it easy to find products in the store.

I created 4 banners, each dedicated to a different author.

The homepage showcases books available for purchase.

The homepage also features selected book authors. Clicking on an author’s photo redirects to a page with information about the writer. At the bottom of the page, there is a footer with the logo, contact information, and a Facebook icon that links to the publishing house’s Facebook page.

2) Bookstore page
On the Bookstore page, all products – books available in the shop – are displayed.
In the top left corner, there is a filter that allows sorting books by price (highest or lowest), popularity, and new arrivals.

Clicking on a product opens the detailed information page for the book, including its description, price, and specifications. There is also an „Add to Cart” button, allowing the book to be quickly added to the shopping cart.

3) Shopping Cart & Payment
After adding a book to the cart and opening it, the following are displayed: the product price, shipping cost, and the quantity of items, which can be adjusted using the plus and minus buttons.

Upon proceeding to checkout, an order summary is displayed, including the product price and shipping cost. Below are fields to fill in: email address, personal information, shipping address, delivery method (courier or parcel locker), payment method, and acceptance of terms and conditions, which must be checked.
Once all information is completed, the „Buy and Pay” button can be clicked to make the payment via bank transfer or BLIK and complete the purchase.
